1st Annual Co Hemp Fest in Western Colorado - Call for Exhibitors

By Colorado Hemp Fest
For Immediate Release: February 21, 2016

Collbran, CO – Locally-owned CO Hemp Festival Inc. announced today that the 1st Annual Colorado Hemp Fest in Western Colorado will be held August 12-14, 2016 in Plateau City, Colorado, as a benefit for a soon-to-be named local charity.  The festival will feature educational sessions about hemp (cannabis, marijuana), live music, entertainment, a business expo for hemp-related products and local vendors, non-profit booths, and several activities for the whole family.

With this announcement is an official "Call for Exhibitors" - sponsors, speakers, vendors, and non-profit/service organizations.  An Exhibitor Application is available at the newly-launched website:  http://www.CoHempFest.com, which also provides additional information about the festival and hemp; "early-bird" bonus or discount is applied to applications received by March 1, 2016.

Numerous activities are being planned, and you are invited to participate.  With sponsor and vendor booths starting at only $150 for all three days, businesses and groups are encouraged to apply early as spaces are limited.  Volunteers and in-kind donors are also welcome.

The primary goals for the festival are: to educate the public about and promote the benefits of hemp; for local and hemp vendors to have a venue filled with people interested in hemp products and the farm-to-consumer cycle; and also for our vendors, sponsors, and non-profits to get great exposure and support.  The theme for 2016 is "Freedom & Farming".

"Without agriculture, there is no culture..."

Connecting local farm and ranch operations with other farmers and small businesses throughout the full cycle of the hemp industry is one long-term objective, as is promoting the benefits of hemp to consumers in every walk of life - thus setting the stage for long-term growth and profitability for many who get involved in this "new" industry, which is rife with opportunity.  With recent legislative changes, Colorado can lead the way in proving that free-enterprise flourishes in a free society, thus improving both Coloradoan and American economies.  A portion of proceeds will be donated to benefit local non-profits, and to fund "jump-start" programs that are being developed.

Colorado Hemp Fest is hosted by K&E Concepts, McDel Gifts & Gear Co. and ThePlateauValley.com Post; all business owners are Colorado natives and residents of Mesa County, Colorado.
